d.net CMS is a Content Management System made with PHP / MySQL. It is a Content Management System for people who don't want to deal with a content management system. As a php/MySQL driven application, it is a lot easier to use than others. No complicated tables of cryptic numbers and definitions - it will hopefully be as close to WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) as you can get on the web. It allows you to: Post news or run a blog (with or without commentary), make lists of links, link and display results from news feeds, create static content pages (like this FAQ), run shoutboxes, maintain image galleries or a Picture of the Day utility, check on page hits and referrals and more.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
